A professional body dedicated to supporting the needs of everyone involved in educational assessment. Their members include everyone involved in assessment, from senior examiners, moderators and markers to individuals with an interest. Communicate-ed provides Oral Language Modifier training in partnership with the CIEA.

Established in 2004 to replace the Joint Council for General Qualifications (JCGQ), the JCQ provides a single voice for its members on issues of examination administration and, when appropriate, qualification and wider education policy.

A standard-setting group concerned with the diagnostic assessment of specific learning difficulties in an educational setting. The committee seeks to extend the principles of good practice contained in the SpLD Working Group 2005/DfES Guidelines across all age ranges and throughout the profession.
